Myspace.com is a great way to find out what’s happening with the blues scene in your area. There is a huge blues community and I love to surf myspace listening to and watching great blues performances. The Christy Howard Band is a hard working country blues band making a name for itself on myspace and on tour. Videos available don’t do the band justice but being an acoustic blues musician myself I really enjoyed this duet track:

We saw The Christy Howard Band last year at the Alpena Blues Fest. They’re tight band that makes a great bridge between the Blues & Country music. It all comes together nicely and makes for good music and a good time! Check them out!
