A good site for free MP3 Downloads is cnets download.com. Buying mp3s really is a good way to support the industry. Buy them directly from the artists site, buy them from bloggers like me through the amazon.com widgets. I make it a point to put out a little change for an mp3 of an artist I’m enjoying or better yet buy the CDs. Buy the whole CD as mp3s and save the planet. You get the point but this post is about free mp3s right – and they can be had too. Check out the blues section at http://www.download.com . You’ll find the free ones like Lil’ Ed and The Blues Imperials. Just don’t forget to grease he wheels and drop a buck in the hat by buying an mp3 or two.
