The movie recommendations are rolling in here at WorldofBlues.com. I haven’t had a chance to view You See Me Laughin’ myself but it comes highly recommended by a friend over at LiveBluesWorld.com.
It does have a 5 out of 5 star rating on Amazon.com with 13 favorable comments. The product description reads “You See Me Laughin’ is a full length documentary that takes a look at the often untamed lifestyles of the last great North Mississippi bluesmen and the Oxford, MS based label- Fat Possum Records- that struggles to record them.” It sounds good to me so I have the DVD on order. I’ll update this post when I’ve seen the movie.
