Is Anyone Using A Flip For Making youtube Videos of Their Band

As WorldofBlues.com visitors know I’m pretty keen on posting videos on my blog. I can’t believe how many great sounding bands have pages up on social networks like myspace.com, Livebluesworld.com, blues.gr, and Texas Blues Roadhouse but have no videos posted. It just seems like a simple thing to do if you’re wanting to promote your music. I assume it is because they aren’t happy with the quality of videos created by our digital cameras (this after asking a few why no videos).

There is a newish device I’m considering buying called a flip which seems like the ideal device to make videos of your band and post them to these sites. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience or better yet videos posted recording live bands with these flip cam corder devices? If you do please leave a comment here so we can all figure out if these are the right solution. Once the votes are in I’ll personally get a device if recommended to provide some first hand experience for visitors. Here are the devices I’m considering:
