Lately I’ve had a real urge to blog about specific instruments and the blues. I’ve a harp piece I’m working on including instructions but it was my twitter pal Slidetone who inspired me to do this quick blog on slide guitar.
Now Slidetone has been known to post some pretty wild tunes, and never mainstream. But lately slidetone has been outdoing himself posting some wild blues slide guitar performances from various artists on youtube. Check these out.
First we have Seasick Steve with a great blackcab performance about his home in Mississippi.
Next we have Ron Thompson – never have I seen anyone as into his instrument as this man.
