5000 Myspace Blues Friends
It’s a big day for us here at WorldofBlues.com ! On the same day as we reached 1000 Twitter followers we also reached the milestone of 5000 Myspace friends. Myspace.com is a great place. You wouldn’t believe all the great entertainment and people you’ll meet up there. A small example perhaps, look at this list of blues societies found so far on Myspace. I’ve also featured several Myspace friends right here on WorldofBlues.com. For example there is “The Blues Byrds” some of which live in Italy but others live in the US but it didn’t stop them from meeting and recording with each other. Or Papa Legba’s Blues Lounge with a video that makes me grin ear to ear and a sound that gives me goosebumps. OK enough, I’m getting mushy and feeling bad about the other 4998 friends I can’t name here but, if you’re not a member of myspace you really should be. Its a great way to find out about local blues events and support the blues.
